The Democrats have won the House and Senate and I anxiously await the miracles which are to start occuring. My first wish is that the DNC infact will start to work as a bi-partisan entity. Now I am waiting to watch the Democrat Leadership to address the Medicare and Medicaid funding issues. Also, the Democrats may want to also tell us how they can assure young people that the money the spend on FICA will actually be around for them in 30 or more years. Social Security as created by FDR was not intended to be the sole retirement account for everyone. Back in FDR's time the average life expectancy was around 49 years old. I can only hope that the DNC will be honest to all Americans, and tell the ugly truth about our finances in regards to Medicare, Medicaid and S/S.
